How would the sonography field be more identified as, nursing or science?

I am attending college in the field of medical diagnostic sonography and the most questions I get asked is if this more in the nursing field or more in the medical science field.

Absolutely science. No nursing involved at all. You are not treating patient symptoms but a great bedside manner and customer service skills is a must.

Sonography (aka diagnostic medical sonography) is more in medical science & doesn't involve nursing.

More medical diagnostic field like x ray tech or MRI tech very good field and in demand you should look into MRI tech very much in demand
