What is the best way to handle emotions, compassion, and the responsibility of being a medical examiner?
I am currently a high school student and wanting to continue my education in forensic science as Coroner. My biggest worry is how to detach my emotions and compassion from my duties and responsibilities.
What are the best colleges for forensic pathology, and what should I major in once I get there?
I'm currently a Sophomore and want to go into forensic pathology, but I'm not sure where I should be looking to apply to. I know I need to be looking for colleges with good medical fields, but there's so many different choices that it gets overwhelming. I should probably mention that I'm queer and transgender, so schools in more southern areas might be a bit spooky. I also have no idea what I should plan to major in.
