What are good degree options for a 20-year-old leaving ABA?
I’m 20 years old and planning to go to college. I’ve been in ABA for 7 months making $22/hr, and I don’t have a passion to pursue this field long-term. The job is both physically and mentally demanding, and I’ve received little to no support in what feels like an extremely unethical work environment. Right now, my main focus is to get my associate’s degree, but I want out of ABA as quickly as possible. I’m looking for something that can lead to a stable, supportive, and beneficial career with opportunities to grow. I can’t do programs that require clinicals because I need to work full-time while in school, but I am open to other healthcare-related roles. My main interests include psychology, law, beauty/cosmetology, and business. I’ve considered becoming a paralegal, but I live in a small city and I don’t think there are many job listings in that field. I’m open to other options as well—I just want something where I can get good support, decent pay, and long-term advancement opportunities.
Anyone who does career counseling ?
I am trying to figure out what I want to study in either for trade school or college. I currently am unemployed and 17. I need a job now as well that pays well and long term but I am not sure if I should do a program or internship at PCC instead because the job market is really bad right now. I am also not sure whether I want to have a remote job or in-person job after I finish either college or trade. If anyone who was in a similar situation or is currently doing trade/college/internship/program what your advice is. I am just really lost right now and I don’t have much time because I finish high school in about 5 months so I need to have a plan after that. I know there is different topics any questions but if anyone can please share your feedback on this I would appreciate it.

Also, how can I gain experience or observation hours in the meantime?

Switching Major from SWE to cyber Security ?
I completed an associates in computer programming, but taking intro to software engineering in my first semester of university I realized I actually hate coding and dread doing it. I thought of switching to cyber security instead cause its less coding. I honestly hate coding at this point or at least that's how university makes me feel. Everywhere says don't switch stick with SWE (software engineering), but I literally have started dreading going to class. It doesn't help that everywhere on the internet says everyone can code now and unless you're real passionate you won't ever make it. I'm scared to switch to cyber security cause everyone says it too is a over saturated market ,but at least maybe I won't dread it like I do SWE? When I was in community college I was so happy to learn coding, but now I never want to look at it again, but I need to finish a bachelor's degree in something. Any advice is appreciated ,Seriously please help! I feel really lost ....

What are the steps to transitioning into a product manager role?
I’m a final-year student with six months of professional backend development experience from an internship, but I’m looking to transition into a product manager role. I completed a three-week training, though I feel I didn’t learn nearly enough, and I’m unsure how to gain more experience since no one seems willing to hire me with just my certificate. Are there any free websites I could explore?
Electrical Engineering and digital nomad friendly jobs?
Hello. I am currently on my third gap year. Which I am very ashamed of but unfortunately I had health issues. I applied to Architecture but if I don’t get in I must have a plan B since Architecture is limited number. I’d like to do a fully remote job in the future because I want to live in Thailand. My main passion is Architecture but if I don’t get in I am thinking about Industrial Design or Electrical Engineering. I am thinking more about Electrical Engineering because I enjoy physics but my main worry is that it’s not digital nomad friendly. I also like Industrial Design because i’d like to get creative as well but I am scared that I will be unemployed though it’s the most remote friendly because of UX design etc. What should I do? I will be 22 this year and I want a safe path that wont force me to get another bachelor or master’s degree. I studied Computer Science for a few months but I hated coding though it was the most remotely friendly. Is it possible to get entry level jobs completely remotely with Electrical Engineering degree? I live in the Netherlands but I am not dutch

Is it okay to completely change career path?
I completed my bachelor's degree in Food Processing Technology in a Sri Lankan government university. However during my internship I realized that I hate working in a food processing factory, I don't like being in crowded or noisy places. And I realized that I really enjoy anything creative like graphic designing, video editing, photography, writing etc. I have now finished my degree but just the thought of getting a job in a food company make me sad and uncomfortable. Is it okay if I stop learning further and move into learning graphic designing and video editing? Will I be able to earn money in those areas?

Any advice on career prospects for Precision Medicine or Pharmaceutical Sciences
Hi everyone, so earlier this year I mentioned trying to change industries from chemical engineering to something else and got some great feedback here. I've always been interested in the medical field so I have been looking at doing a Masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences or in Precision Medicine (I've seen some universities offer other disciplines an opportunity to do precision medicine/translation med) especially if I can't get an entry level job into the industry right now. Do y'all know of anyone in Chemical engineering who ventured into these degrees or perhaps the job prospects or types of jobs I could get with it. I think my concern is will I get a job after doing engineering and then a different Masters 🙈 #pharmaceuticals #medical #engineering #careerchange #industrychange #healthcare #precisionmedicine
If you had an opportunity to do it all again, would you change your profession, or push for something else?
