How should I advance my college resume interested in law as a freshman?

So I want to specialize in the law field, and currently part of Speech and Debate as well as Mock Trial. Some other trivial things are that I'm a part of the California Scholarship Federation (CSF) and Varsity Volleyball. How should I show college administrators that I have a passion for criminal law or just law in general? For example, contests I could participate in, essays I could write, what kind of research/non-profit, etc. Thanks!

What can I do to stand out from other applicants in college admissions and in the job market as a future computer science major, especially when employers are looking for students with strong technical and professional skills?

I am currently a senior in high school and involved in different out of school computer science programs but I still feel extremely underprepared. I take coding classes in my school and a cybersecurity course outside of school but I am still not sure which portion of computer science I want to pursue. #Fall25

How to let go after submitting college applications?

How do I let go after submitting my college applications? I'm so stressed about them but there's nothing left to do except apply to scholarships (most of which should be need based from the actual school I choose). There's nothing left to worry about but I'm more stressed than when I was applying.

Guys, If I want to get a good job for engineering right after College do I need to go to a big known school?

Currently in 12th and I'm looking through schools but the big programs are incredibly competitive and I don't know if I'm cut out compared to others applying. I'd like to apply to state schools but I've heard bigger schools give you a better chance of getting a job right after.

I'm trying to make it sound very authentic and reflect my story, which has been really challenging, but I've learned a lot from it. Is using my close friends death as an accomplishment I learned to accept and have another reason to reach my life goal too much for my college essay?

Just a thought I had in my head, because I don't have any trauma I went through because I lived a good life and child hood but I know losing my friend was my biggest heart break, if that makes sense?

What are some good passion project ideas that combine my interests: coding, chess, dance, and volunteering with neurodiverse communities? Passion project based only activities in high school?

Hi! I’m a high school student looking to start a passion project that aligns with my interests in coding (html, css, js, AI/ML) i wanted to take major as Com sci, chess, dance, and volunteering with neurodiverse kids in NGO. I want to make a meaningful impact and ideally build something that helps others or showcases creativity. I’d love suggestions on projects that combine any of these areas, especially those I could grow over time or possibly turn into a passion project. Thank you!

What can I do this summer (summer before senior year) to improve my college applications?

Hello! This summer will be my last summer in high school. This fall, I'll be applying to colleges. I was wondering what things I could do this summer to improve my applications. I'm signing up to volunteer at my local hospital however, I found out it's lottery-based, not skill-based, so I am not sure if I'll get the spot. I am also going to retake the SAT this August, I wanted to take the ACT, however, I am not too sure. I also plan to tutor young kids in my community. I feel like I am not doing enough and that my peers are way ahead of me. I plan for my major to be public/community health, so it would be better if I did things in relation to that. Please let me know of some other things I could do to improve my college apps!!! Thank you :)
