What are the perks of working in the field of architecture? #Fall25
Im a senior in high school and plan on attending Kansas State University and majoring in architecture. Im not fully sure if this field will be a good choice for me and that I wont regret it. I would love to get some advice and personal insight on how to succeed and know if this is the job for me by architects and other career ideas to look into #Fall25

Hi Jace,
Architecture is shifting more towards technology, like artificial intelligence and sustainability. It's becoming less about broad exploration and more about practical application. If you're still interested in architecture, I recommend getting hands-on experience and taking a class on sustainability.

Hi Jace!
The perks are that you get to be creative each and every day. In design, in problem solving, and even graphic design. There is always something new to learn and young minds really have the opportunity to flourish in this field - especially if you find a firm that empowers young designers and helps them become architects.
I'm excited for you - good luck!
