Which industires are growing/emerging that align with marketing and digital media?
I am a sophmore at University of Wisconsin Madison majoring in Consumer Behavior and Marketplace Studies and Communication Arts.

If you're thinking about a career in marketing, it's a good idea to build skills in AI Marketing with tools like Jasper, ChatGPT, and Adobe Firefly. Also, consider taking courses in Data Analytics. Understanding how to work with data is important and useful in any business.

I work as a corporate event manager at one of the top accounting firms. I organize events for both our staff and clients. I think your studies would be a great fit for supporting big companies in event management. We focus on creating welcoming and personalized experiences for our clients to strengthen our relationships and expand how we collaborate. For these events, we handle communication between clients and hosts to encourage their participation. We also manage all aspects of the event, like food, drinks, logistics, decorations, entertainment, and gifts. The event industry is always changing, and we're using new AI tools to make our work easier and events more enjoyable. Being open to how AI can help is important. If you're interested in moving into the event industry, I suggest checking out local event organizations and attending some meetings. It's a good way to meet people and see where your skills might fit.

Hi MiKayla! AI is rapidly growing in the field of marketing, including digital media. for anyone wanting to enter this field, I highly recommend becoming an expert in the AI tools offered by Adobe. Of course, get familiar with as many tools as possible, but so many companies were already using tools like Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc. that the transition to using Adobe's AI tools is an was an easy shift.
Many larger organizations also already use CoPilot because, at the corporate level, it can preserve the privacy of proprietary information. It would be great to get a full understanding of how CoPilot can help streamline processes and make design easier. CoPilot is now built into the Microsoft suite, so it's easy to explore. I wish you all the best! Our organization went from spending $10,000 for each video to using AI to do much of the legwork. The changes happening in the marketing industry are so exciting.

Personalization is growing. Instead of generic messaging for a mass audience, there's a shift to meaningful messaging for targeted audiences based on the vast amounts of data now available.
AI is definitely growing, too, but I'd make sure you're using it as a tool and not a replacement for creative and critical thinking.
