Megan’s Answer

Although I am not a fashion designer, I did start out wanting to pursue that career. I found out that it doesn't necessarily have a time frame. There are people that start designing at 10 and 12 and there are people that start 20s 30s 40s and on. You decide your own time frame. Watch Project Runway and you'll see all different types of people with all different types of skills.

Maria Luísa’s Answer

I started designing when I was 18, today I’m 21. Since I study fashion design and I work with it, I consider myself a fashion designer, but there’s not a proper age and term to follow to be one. Some people need years to learn and open their minds to the fashion world and learn some important parts, others just feel their instincts.
