Diane’s Answer

Hello Eason:

To prep for an upcoming game like diet: you should eat a well balanced meals, i.e. fruits, vegetables and drink plenty of water. Try very hard to limit junk food. Remember healthy food gives you energy and it is good for your brain. In addition your body prep includes strength training and cardio which should be done 4-6 times per week.

Best Wishes and Good Luck On Your Body Prep For Your Games

Diet: Load up on complex carbohydrates and lean protein 2–3 hours before the game, while keeping hydration consistent with water and electrolytes.
Body Prep: Prioritize 8+ hours of deep sleep the night before, taper your training to avoid pre-game fatigue, and complete a thorough dynamic warm-up.
Mindset: Spend a few minutes visualizing successful execution of your plays to ensure you are mentally locked in and confident.

Vijay’s Answer

If wanted to focus on any one particular game -
First - choose the game based on your Interest and Strength.
Second - Know the Game features , Rules and regulations very well
Third - Regular Practice will keep you on track - monitor your performance - get advice and guidance from a Coach who had practical experience.
Fourth - Maintain the Discipline of the game and try to participate in inter group / inter school or your friends circle matches to get a Realtime hands on experience of the game and then go for the big one as a practiced professional.

The more you Practice and Participate - The more learning you get , and become an expert in the field.

Steve’s Answer

On-top of whatever @Diane Coles mention above, I'd add on and say find your "lucky" routine.

Some that i can find online:
Rafael Nadal (Tennis): In addition to lining up water bottles labels-forward, he takes an ice-cold shower 45 minutes before matches and follows strict, repetitive hair/shirt/face rituals before serving.

Cristiano Ronaldo (Soccer): Has been known to enter the pitch with his right foot first and wear the same pair of socks during winning streaks.
Jason Giambi (MLB): Famously wore a gold lamé thong to break out of a hitting slump.

Turk Wendell (MLB): A deeply superstitious pitcher, he brushed his teeth between innings, chewed black licorice, and leaped over the foul lines.

Anna Mytko (Soccer): Rips a piece of grass immediately upon stepping onto the pitch for luck.

Good luck!
