What are good studying habits?
I have not started college yet but I am wondering how to manage my time properly to do other things in life but also assignments. My studying habits right now are not the best and I know I can improve on that. Thank you to whoever takes the time to write me a response! (:

Good studying habits are extremely important, but they’re also not easy to build or change—especially when there are so many distractions and external influences around you. It’s completely normal to struggle with this, especially before starting college.
What matters most, in my opinion, is having a strong sense of purpose. If you don’t know *why* you’re studying, it’s very hard to stay disciplined. Try to set a clear goal that is both realistic and attractive to you—something you genuinely want to achieve. When your goal feels meaningful and achievable, it naturally gives you the motivation to focus and complete your tasks.
Once you have that, your habits will start to align with your goal. You’ll find it easier to manage your time, avoid distractions, and stay consistent. You don’t need to be perfect—just keep adjusting, reflecting on what works, and improving little by little.
