How do I know if my major is right for me?

Look for a field of study that naturally engages your curiosity and teaches you how to solve the types of problems you actually enjoy tackling. Pay attention to the subjects where the coursework feels less like a chore and more like a puzzle you want to figure out. Think of your major as a flexible launching pad for your first few jobs rather than a strict blueprint for your entire future.
To bridge the gap between the classroom and the real world, use summer jobs, part-time roles, or volunteer opportunities to test-drive fields you are curious about. These hands-on experiences will allow you to network with professionals, ask questions, and gain firsthand insight into whether a specific industry is the right fit for your studies and future career. Ultimately, if your chosen path builds skills you value, connects you with inspiring people, and keeps you genuinely engaged, you are exactly where you need to be.

I would suggest for you to make a list of things you are interested and not interested in (for a career). What do you like doing and what do you hate doing. Are there things you CANNOT see yourself doing as a job? From there, either research more about possible career paths with that job or ask here if you need help.
Another thing you can do is to ask teachers/school counselors for advice, they often have resources to help you find a career path and what to do.
A separate thing you can also do, is if you have a specific field you are more interested in, try to find somebody to talk to within that field, whether over email or online call. They can give you some insights to what field of study you should go into.
