How do you land Internships in college?

especially in ECE considering the huge over saturation. Applying by Linkedin or Indeed doesn't seem to get through since I dont get any reply backs. Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you comment icon Hi Maiar! Can you spell out what ECE is, since it can mean a couple different things? Sharyn Grose, Admin

Keep doing what you are doing, attend internship fairs via your school and talk to the department office for your degree about any internships they have connections with. Double or triple your applications. Good luck, you will do well.

Matt’s Answer

Hello,

Your university might host career fairs related to your major, and these are fantastic opportunities to start your career journey. By attending, you can discover companies in your field and make valuable connections.

If your school offers these fairs, take some time to research the companies that will be there. Understanding what they do and seeing if they align with your interests can really make a difference. Showing up with some knowledge about the companies can demonstrate your enthusiasm.

Also, having a ready resume to share with them can open doors to more conversations and possibly help you secure an internship!
