Congratulations on entering the college stage—this will be a beautiful and unforgettable chapter of your life. Try not to worry too much. Whether the experiences are good or challenging, they are all part of your growth. You’ll learn a lot and get to explore new perspectives along the way.
You’ll also meet new friends who can support and accompany you through this journey. When you feel tired or stressed, find a way to release it—exercise can really help, or simply talk to a friend and share what’s on your mind.
Take things step by step, stay open to the experience, and trust yourself. You’ve got this. 💪

Congratulations on this new journey! I would say that knowing your limits and staying on top of things is important. Don't pack on multiple things at once if it is going to overwhelm you, such as taking on more than 4 classes per semester. Like others have mentioned, time management is essential and so is prioritizing. Take time out of your busy schedule to make sure that you focus on what is important to you that benefits your mental health. Whether this is taking time to hang out with your friends or going out on a walk just to decompress. Find out what helps you decompress too, whether it's exercise or talking to someone. Also enjoy the moment as well, this will be such a nice time to look back on the memories you made. You got this!

Stay organized with a planner or schedule, and break big tasks into smaller, manageable steps. Prioritize healthy habits like sleep, exercise, and downtime to help manage stress. Build a support network of friends, family, and mentors you can lean on when needed. Most importantly, be patient with yourself—college is a learning experience, and it's okay to ask for help along the way. You've got this! 😊

Hi Carter,
The best way to prepare for college is stay organized and work on your time management. The biggest thing I learned is to have a consistent schedule to better help manage school, work, and other activities. Understand that it’s okay to take small breaks in between schoolwork. Do not overwork yourself because it will cause burnout and stress. Also, invest in a counselor. I’m sure your school will have an active counselor on campus and virtual options.
