Who do you interact with and how do you help them?
Currently a college sophomore studying to go into health communication and sales. I aspire to help people by interacting with them at times of need and offering them chance at a better outcome.

Great question!
I myself interact with customers, partners, and internal teams who are often trying to make important decisions under pressure. My rol.e is to listen to their needs, ask the right questions, and help guide them toward the best possible outcome.
What connects closely to health communication is empathy and clarity — helping people understand their options when it matters most. By building trust and communicating clearly, I aim to make complex situations feel manageable and help people move forward with confidence.
Communication is like the FORCE in Star Wars. Think Midichlorians. The better you are at communicating, the better you are!

Gabrielle, welcome to CareerVillage! You're in the right field! First of all, communication is the foundation of everything! You need to be able to understand your audience, the people you interact with, their interests, their needs, what are they looking for. What helps them make their decisions related to what you're trying to communicate. And sales! Everything we do either personally or professionaly involves sales skills!
Then before starting your journey in any field, healthcare, etc, you need to believe in what you're communicating, what are you promoting. Be it a health service, health process etc....and do it with passion!

Your desire to help others is truly admirable, and it's important to keep that intention alive. While it may seem challenging to connect your interest in health communications with sales goals, remember that wanting to help people can be a great asset in sales. Sales is about creating value for both the customer and the company. By approaching each situation with honesty and a clear purpose, you can find ways to support others while achieving your sales objectives. Focus on how your passion for helping can enhance your sales strategy, and you'll find success in both areas.
Determine if Health Coommunications and Sales are compatile or if you must chose
