Finding specific information about Baruch might be tough, but don't worry. Check out websites that list student jobs. Many companies advertise internships there. I think it is definitely worth going to your career center and seeing if they have any internship opportunities. It is not too early to look for internship opportunities as a freshman! The career Center or even reaching out via LinkedIn is a good way to make connections and see if they have any openings. Also, internships are not only during the summer, they can be during the school year so if you can manage with your course work I think looking into this would be very valuable!

I encourage you to explore topics beyond your coursework. Try following financial news, listening to industry podcasts, reading company earnings reports, and asking questions about why things happen.
Also, consider joining finance-related organizations. Attend conferences, industry panels, and networking events whenever you can. Listening to professionals talk about real challenges and opportunities can spark new interests and show you how finance affects businesses and communities.
