Eva’s Answer
Focus on one thing at a time. Multitasking often leads to distraction and makes it hard to concentrate. Some topics need more of your attention, so spend more time on them. Make a plan for what you want to learn and follow it. It's crucial to set aside time for each task and, even more importantly, make time to rest. We often feel overwhelmed by everything we have to do and forget that we need time to recharge.

Do your work and studying in the library so you can focus! If you attempt to do it in your dorm and or other common areas, you are easily going to be distracted from friends, television, phone, and other temptations. I would also do your work shortly after class if possible, so the material is still fresh in your brain and you can enhance the material!
