What is the #1 thing that you will or do miss after graduating from middle, kindergarten, pre-k, elementary, and high school?
We all have that one regret of graduating from different levels of education, especially when you were young and missed how it was before you finished your education. Mine was Kindergarten or pre-k cause of how calm and a bit relaxing it was being little. I miss those moments now that I'm soon to be graduating from high school.

I don't think I "missed" anything about Kindergarten or school because I was ready to move on by the time I got to the end next stage. I did miss my friends at every transition though. Of course, you still see some of them around town or at events, but you just grow apart.
My best friend in the neighborhood started elementary a year before me. I so wanted to go with her. Instead I had to go to Kindergarten. I made friends there, but transitioned to elementary before most of them did. The kids who left Kindergarten the same time as me mostly went to different elementary schools.
By the time I transitioned from elementary to middle/high-school, some of my classmates transitioned with me, but again many went to different schools. When I graduated high-school, I was so ready to go to university and start my own life, but it also meant to loose most of my local friends because most of us left our hometown and were scattered all over the place. We do have the occasional class reunion and they can be interesting and fun but I miss the deep connections with friends I grew up with.
I really do miss university. There is so much to learn, so many interesting people, so many events. I had the best group of friends at university, but, obviously, we all went our separate ways after graduation. People are scattered all over the world. Sometimes it can be fun to meet up with someone who currently lives in China or Japan and catch up with them, but you also lose a lot of closeness.

I never graduated from any of them, and I miss having had that experience! When I started 6th grade, it was part of elementary school. We moved in December, and I was thrust into middle school at my new town. Before I could transition to high school, they combined the middle school and HS campuses into one school, grades 7-12. I miss that school, because it was small, and everyone treated each other with respect. We moved again, and I started my junior year of HS in a totally different environment. I hated it. I took the minimum number of credits to graduate early, and did not attend the graduation ceremony. There is nothing I miss about my time in that school.
Once you graduate HS so much of the "games" are behind you. The popularity contests, the cliques. It's all so important in HS, and, then it's gone.
I do miss college. It was a long time ago, and it's different now. Back then, we practically idolized our professors, and sought them out outside of class, with more questions, seeking yet more knowledge. Now it's all just a click away. But the environment was great, with so many people wanting to just learn as much as we could.

Good question! I think generally across the board, something I miss from each of these times is the experiences and memories outside of the classroom. For example, all of the time I got to spend with friends and family in each of these different stages before you reach college and eventually post-grad. My advice is to enjoy the little moments and don't wish the time away! Life after school will be there when you're ready for it. Best of luck!
