How do I create my resume to stand out from other applicants? Is my resume at a large disadvantage because I have not worked an internship? What are some of the best ways to network for a niche career path?

Hi, my name is Addy,
I am currently a senior at the College of Charleston majoring in Communications and minoring in Arts Management. As excited as I am about my post-grad life, I am just as anxious. I want to work in music PR, although I am unsure if my resume is strong enough. I have worked since I have been 16 but, I have not worked an internship or in a position for my career goals. I also understand that the subfield of PR I would like to work in is more niche; what are good ways to network/ make connections for this career path?
