How can i make a competitive application for college?

I really want to put my best into my application but im not sure what I need to do or put on the application to put me above over candidates. Is there anything particular I should include on it or work harder on improving? #collegeapplication #competitive

Erica,

Here are some suggestions I have:
Visit the campuses that you are interested in and ask lots of questions about student life, employment opportunities, and what qualities a good applicant for that school should have.

Try to talk to other students that attend the schools you're interested in. Just ask them about their experiences, the admissions process, what classes you should take and so on.

Do your research online. Just start with Google and search the names of the schools you want to go to. Find out everything you can about that school. Most schools have average admission statistics on their websites, this will give you an idea of what things you may need to focus on to get admitted.

Erica, my best advice would be to focus on what makes you unique. Colleges look for ambition and initiative, so if there are any programs, clubs or groups you started at your school/church/etc., highlight them!
