Being a regular welder I can say the water is typically going to be cooling you down as you work, the oxygen will not have weld fumes. The few I knew that underwater welded made great money.


Typically summers welding as normal welder is unbearably hot for many people and the fumes can be brutal if your area isn’t properly vented. But I don’t worry about fish and other marine life attacking me or being in my area lol
