Hello! I did some research and I found out what I think you need. It's called a private room. There are multiple single dorm types, but this was a center room dorm.

Costs (per resident)

Quarter: $4,586

Semester: $6,879

Academic year: $13,758

Look here for more information on DePaul University dorms.

Sophia recommends the following next steps:

Look at the other single rooms at DePaul University.

I live in the De Paul area, and for those who still might be reading this, consider living off campus. It might be much cheaper. The el train system drops you right off at the campus door, and neighborhoods close to DePaul are much cheaper than a dorm room. For a studio apartment, you can easily find one for under 1k per month. The current fee is 14,235 but includes food. If you go to the grocery store and don't eat out all the time, you can live cheaper than the 14k fee. Also, you will be able to enjoy the city and all it has to offer by living in a different neighborhood. I would look into wrigleyville, Uptown and generally, the el system runs north and south so keep that in mind when exploring. FYI, when riding the el, go to the first car where the engineer is as it is safer.

De Paul is a good school and is a solid choice. Be safe and enjoy all the City of Chicago has to offer but keep your eyes on the prize, earning your degree. Best of luck to all!
