Richard’s Answer

Emily,

Congratulations on having an idea of what career you want to be in while still being in HS. Nursing is demanding and rewarding and I have known many nurses in my life and they all shared a love for helping people more than anything else. A great place to start to research requirements is https://www.learnhowtobecome.org/nurse/registered-nurse/.

I would also recommend picking a school that you can visit or contact that has a nursing program to find out what steps they recommend you take in your pursuit. https://www.niche.com/

All the best to you!
