Issac -

Your salary range will be driven by factors like:

1- Years of experience required and the actual years of experience you have today.

2- The level of the role, typically companies have salary bands so the can create career tracks.

3- Is the role a Unique / Niche Skill that is high demand

Research the companies you want to work for and the careers you are interested in pursuing. I would also encourage you to use LinkedIn.com to begin a professional profile & network. This site is a great way to gather contacts and learn more.

Richard’s Answer

Depends on the location and specialty.
Family practice doctors range from $150,000-350,000 per year.
Subspecialty surgeons can make up to $800,000 per year; even more if they own their own imaging equipment or invest in a hospital.
