The best thing about being a photographer is the way you tell a story, the way you tell the world what you see in the world, the way you tell people what's going on in the world through your photos, whether it's good or bad.

You start enjoying your own company
It is almost like meditation, gives you relief from stress if you like the subjects that you are shooting.
The reaction you get from people once they see your work and find out there are so many interesting things around us which they miss in their routine life.

I have to agree with the previous answer. Some of my subject just don't know how beautiful they are. I try and capture the true expression, not a forced one.
