What does a Atmospheric and Space Scientist do on a day-to-day basis?

Im not sure about space scientists. Atmospheric chemist do lots, Inductively coupled mass spectroscopy, compile parts per million gas data and measure various hydrospheric chemical (chain chemical) reactions.

I can tell you that Space Scientist get to do lots of stuff as well.
Depending on where you choose to work, you will likely be doing things in researching the vast distance into the universe, discovering the infinite things that are still yet to be discovered. Especially now that the James Webb Space telescope is being deployed soon, there will be enormous amounts of imagery and data coming in that scientist everywhere will be going through to decipher the mysteries of the universe.
