The easy way to start with is the good old school method try spoken hindi books, nowadays you get digital copies and PDFs for free.

You can also try watching hindi documentary videos with english subtitles. Usually documentarys will have right words without much metaphors or local accents, also the narration will be in slow paced, so you can clearly listen to the words.

To speak in hindi you should start listening hindi first, Since you are based out of india, i advice you to watch movies dubbed in hindi or bollywood movies and songs. Start grasping words and soon you will start understanding and will get translations
