Helping is not just noble, but a very rewarding experience. I would imagine your university's student life office can help you find meaningful volunteer experiences. I am sure they can point you to a host of opportunities for you to help.

There are many different ways in which we can help people. If you are good at particular subjects/courses you are taking, one great way to help your fellow students is to organize and lead a study group. Even if you don't excel at a subject, you can organize a study group - many students are shy and would love for someone to invite them to join a study group. Here are tips on how to form a study group https://www.wikihow.com/Form-a-Study-Group

Outside of the university, there are many non-profit organizations that would be grateful for your volunteer work. What do you genuinely care about? It may be helping immigrants, sick people, the environment, etc, etc. Through an internet search I found volunteertoronto.ca - an organization that can connect you with organizations looking for volunteers.

I truly applaud your passion, helping others is a fantastic thing to do! You should look into what student groups there are at your university, there are likely ones that are community focused. Beyond the university, there are certainly community outreach programs in Toronto. Do a web search, narrow down the options to ones that meet your interest and, reach out to them. Most will be happy to have any help they can get.

Good luck and, keep helping others!!

I suggest being a mentor, there are so many children out there that need good mentors, someone they can look up too! Maybe look into a Boys and Girls club or an after school program. We need to give to our youth because after all they are our Future!

Best Wishes in your Future Endeavors!
