How strenuous is it to balance Psychology major coursework and a social life while living on campus?

While I'm very focused on my major, I don't want to let my social life distract me from my path. #psychology #psychiatry

Good Evening Chantz,

Although you need to find a good balance for yourself, for me personally, balancing school work and a social life was totally doable. At my busiest, I was a double major in psychology and business management, working 20 hours a week, volunteering on the weekend, and on a competing dance team among other things. I was involved in a lot of things because personally, having activities gave my days structure; studying when I had time, and taking a break from that.

My psychology coursework was composed mostly of reading/understanding case studies, reading textbook chapters, and the occasional essay. I'm sure you'll be able to get through it all and find that balance!. I know that you posted this question back in 2016, but if you need any pointers/tips, feel free to reach out!
