For the price, you can't beat instate tuition in Texas!

However according to many rankings, California has the best public university medical schools

I went to medical school in Texas and paid 10-13K per year for an MD from UT Southwestern Medical School. UTSW provided excellent training at an excellent price. I would say Texas.
