If you did not take the class in college, then yes. One class isn't the end of the world.

One bad class will not matter much. Research experience, MCAT, extracurricular activities, and volunteer works and shadowing are also important.

The class will affect your gpa. However, one bad class won’t make much of a difference especially since you haven’t even started college. Just make sure to try your best in all of your classes from now until you graduate college to maintain a good gpa. Also at the end of the day gpa is not all medical schools look at.
