Can someone tell me about Med flight people?

My best friend wants to be a Med flight person... he makes it seem so interesting. I support him all the way.. is it safe.. #airline-industry #doctor

I am guessing that Med Flight Person is a “Certified Flight Paramedic “ on a air transport helicopter or Aircraft used not only to save valuable time to transport an injured or sick patient to hospital but to keep that patient alive during the process of transport.

This is someone who is certified to be a paramedic on a helicopter. The difference between this type of paramedic and the regular kind is just what they will travel to the scene of the incident; regular paramedics travel in an ambulance. This is a very important career because these paramedics are the ones that will show up if they need to get there very quickly or if the victim is in a location hard to reach by car. It really is not much more dangerous than being any other type of paramedic, especially because he will be well trained in how to do his job mid-flight.
