Chris’s Answer

Always remember: nothing is ever handed to you. Success is earned, not given. You need to leverage your four years in college, your resume, and any internship experience you have and network your way into the job you are looking for. Submitting resumes to firms on line has a minimal chance of having any impact. Be creative and find an area/firm where you want to work and send out personalized emails, offer to buy people cups of coffee/drinks, etc.

My biggest piece of advice: never, ever, ever pass up an opportunity to meet new people. Even if it seems like the most benign, casual opportunity, you never know when a handshake and/or conversation will lead to a job opportunity down the line.

Good luck!
