Any experience you can get within the healthcare field will help you with future nursing career. Volunteering in nursing homes or hospitals or working as CNA in facilities will give you on job experiences that are invaluable. Seeking out knowledge from professionals in the field such as on this site are great ways to increase your knowledge base as well. Good luck!
