What Liberal Arts school would you recommend for someone who would like to pursue a career in law?

I aspire to be a lawyer. I am currently in my 2nd year of high school (10th grade). Not sure which college to pick for my undergrad. I would prefer one in the North East region, since I live in Maryland. #college #teacher #law #criminal-justice

Hello! I'm not to familiar with schools in the north east but I would say any liberal arts school would be fine. Just make sure you take classes to develop your writing skills during your undergrad career. Law school is a lot of writing, reading, and analytical thinking.

Hi Josiah!

You asked a very interesting question. There are many things to consider when choosing a college and the most important things are the comfort and fit and cost of the school.

Since you are going for such an important and expensive degree, I would like to suggest that you start at your local community college. It would be interesting to talk in person to the head of alumni relations at your local community college to arrange to talk to lawyers who got their start there. I am sure that you will be very surprised.

Here is something else to consider about becoming a lawyer:

You will find that people are very helpful and willing to give information to someone who might want to follow their career path.

Best of luck! Please keep me posted. I would like to follow your progress!
