Andrew’s Answer

Computer and mathematics are critical components in the manufacturing of race cars. You may be able to leverage your passion on these three passions into a college degree program in engineering.

At the high-school level, devote your time and energy in STEM-track courses, especially mathematics and physics.

Sounds like you are excited by race cars and have a passion for computer science and mathematics. Good for you! Pursue your passion in school by working hard. I'd recommend that you share your passions with your teachers and ask them for additional hands on after school projects and assignments to support your interests. Teachers love to help and I am confident that will appreciate your enthusiasm and do just that. Also, do some research on your own. If I am not mistaken, the home of NASCAR is in Charlotte, North Carolina. Learn all you can about careers in the world of racing. Perhaps there are internships, summer experiences and other opportunities. Most importantly be the best student you can be as you work towards your goal.

Best of luck.
