Deborah’s Answer

Enter into a career in nursing based on a calling and you will have a long and happy career. Driven by a passion to educate, empower and care for others can help you take a nursing career in a multitude of directions. Nursing offers an opportunity to adapt your professional life with your lifestyle, from both hours/days worked to location. My nursing career has changed as my family life changed and it has worked very well.
Good luck in your decision process!!

janet’s Answer

Absolutely! If you have the heart for service, nursing is a wonderful career choice. I have worked in nursing for the past 38 years. Every day presented challenges and rewards! Nurses will always be needed and you can choose the path you want to achieve. There are so many options open for a nurse including traveling and seeing the country while getting paid well, behavioral health nursing, hospital nursing, and so many others. I would recommend nursing to anyone who has the passion! Good luck!

Robert’s Answer

Great field, and recession proof. Can work anywhere around the world as well. You can also take travel assignments for short periods of time and see the country/world. Cannot go wrong with that field .
