In my opinion, at least for me, the science honors and math honors were more difficult than the english/economics/history honors classes. Then again it depends on the person. Some people find numbers and facts easier to memorize and struggle with english, critical thinking skills, etc

Hi Jialin,

I personally found AP Europen Civilizations (APEC) incredibly hard because of all the detail and nuances that I needed to keep straight. You literally learn about all the artists, and the philosophers, and the people, and the cities, and it's just a very very dense read in the textbook. And the test is literally down to a date asking what happened at certain locations.

While I also thought AP Bio was hard, I actually felt AP Calc was relatively easy. The thing with APEC is that it if doesn't click, it doesn't click and there is no real guessing or way to figure it out.

I will however say that my friend who took APEC and got an A told me the way she remembered everything is by learning the facts like a story and connecting them as if they're part of a movie or the plot of a show. That way she was able to remember a lot of the facts more easily and even was able to guess on some questions based of the context of the "story" she could remember.

Unfortunately, APEC didn't transfer to any college credit for me and it was a big waste of time. I strongly recommend looking up schools you want to go to and reading which AP classes actually transfer before committing to classes that won't ultimately save you money in the long run.
