Luvia’s Answer

A foreigner can become a makeup artist in Korea, however it is going to require that you are either a citizen, have a work visa, or have lived in that country for a few years. I would suggest getting in contact with an immigration attorney, and potentially reaching out to people you may know that work abroad and the process they went through or what they have heard.

There are several work visas https://www.koreaonlinevisa.com/south-korean-work-visa-types-how-to-get-application-requirements/ for South Korea. I would contact an immigration attorney that specializes in South Korea to better understand which Visa you might qualify for.

Hi Grace
Are you asking this in the legal point of view, that you have a citizenship? Or as if you capable of doing it, people would go to your capacities? I can tell you from the second option, if you get the interest of Koreans, if you are confident in yourself by being the phew foreign makeup artist in Korea that will say a lot of you as a person and artist, try to get involved with more Korean makeup artist and take everything in your own way make it yours.
