You can work in labs with cement and concrete too! This requires a lot more critical thinking than physical effort, however you need math skills too.

Yes, no matter what job you are exploring today requires critical thinking. If you are going to be successful at any job employers want people who can think and make decisions, not robots. If you cannot think on your feet your career path is going to be very limited.
