What things other than AP's increase the chances of me getting into a good college?
What should I do in order to increase the chances into getting into a good college, other than doing AP's what else should I do in order to increase my chances?

Have a high GPA and/or improve your GPA each year. High test scores and community involvement will generally take a backseat to GPA. Its not a fun answer but GPA reflects your day in and day out effort better than any other metric. Performing well in AP classes is the best way to boost your GPA but can be detrimental if you are unable to perform as well as in your other classes.
Secondly, colleges want to see involvement in extracurriculars. Pick whatever that is and stay in a lane with it whether it be chess club or football or working a job. Have a story to tell and work on building that story through your effort in those extra curriculars. It is really that simple.
Finally, if your test scores are low, finding a good in person SAT/ACT prep course can be extremely helpful to increase your scores. The problem is that most people who take the courses zone out of them and don't try and they can be expensive. I personally was able to dramatically improve my scores when I was back in school by engaging in one of these courses.

I'd like to suggest that "volunteering" is a great way to increase your chances of getting into college. It shows that you're willing to do extra work and give your time without getting paid. Once you've volunteered you could also leverage that resource to write a letter of recommendation for college.
