What training programs for digital illustration are there without going to college?

I love art and would love to find a way to improve my art and explore freelance art without it being a full time job.

Domestika.org might also be a great resource for courses. Additionally, consider volunteering a great way to build skills and increase your exposure. Lastly, reach out to digital illustrators that inspire you. Mentor relationships are another great way to grow.

Thankfully there are many really great online options for learning digital illustration! Online platforms such as Skillshare and Domestika offer a treasure trove of classes for a relatively low cost. In addition, check your local library as they may offer classes in person or virtually. Social media can be a valuable source as well, follow artists you love and often they will have tutorials or classes or YouTube videos. And most importantly, make art often! Make drawing a part of your normal routine and you will eventually start to develop your own style which is important if you ever decide to pursue freelance opportunities.
