Hey there! It's fantastic to see that you're eager to explore programs abroad and expand your horizons! I would definitely recommend being proactive in submitting your resume and cover letters to as many organizations as possible, focusing on those where you meet their minimum qualifications requirements. This will greatly increase your chances of finding excellent opportunities.

Here are a few great sources where you can find exciting opportunities:
1. Chegg Internships
2. Indeed
3. LinkedIn
4. Google Jobs
5. Amazon's Head Start program

And remember, there are so many more opportunities waiting out there! You can also use Google or any search engine to search for the term "apprentice" and find even more prospects. Moreover, consider seeking out volunteer programs or positions that align with your interests and what you'd like to learn from internships or apprenticeships.

As a recent high school graduate, your main goal should be to gain as much valuable experience as possible. Each experience will equip you with essential skills and knowledge, preparing you for a bright future.

I genuinely hope this advice is helpful for you. Keep up the enthusiasm, and I'm confident you'll find amazing opportunities on your journey!

All the best,
Daniel

Getting a remote American internship as a high school student outside of America is definitely possible! Here are some steps you can take to find internships for high schoolers oriented around engineering. Also check with your school - Ask your high school counselor or engineering teacher if they know of any remote internship opportunities. They may have connections with companies or programs that you can apply to.

jasmine recommends the following next steps:

Research companies - Start by researching companies that offer remote internships in engineering. Look for companies that have a strong online presence and are open to hiring international interns.
Check job boards - Check job boards that list remote internships for high schoolers. Websites like Indeed, Glassdoor, and LinkedIn all have job postings for remote internships.
Reach out to companies - Once you have a list of companies, reach out to them directly to inquire about internship opportunities. You can send an email introducing yourself and expressing your interest in a remote internship. Be sure to highlight any relevant experience or coursework you have completed.
Network with industry professionals - Connect with industry professionals on LinkedIn and other social media platforms. Reach out to them to ask about remote internship opportunities and ask if they know of any openings.
Apply for programs - Look for programs specifically designed for high schoolers interested in engineering. Programs like NASA's High School Aerospace Scholars and the Engineering Summer Academy at Penn offer remote internships to high school students.
