Below are my suggestions :
1. Think about your career aspiration. What do you want to do / achieve in long term, say 5 - 10 years time?
2. Put down your ultimate goal and break it down into smaller milestones for 6 months - 1 year
3. Review your progress regularly and make adjustment if necessary. The world keeps changing every day, sometime the milestones / goad may no longer valid
4. Keep your knowledge up to date by attending industry seminars and advance your knowledge by attending classes
5. Establish good people network both inside the organization and in the industry
