How many years of college is recommended for becoming a psychologist?

I’m a 9th grade student, but already am trying to plan out my college career. Knowing how many years of practice I would need to get the job I want would be helpful. Thank you!

You need a bachelors and then doctoral degree to become a psychologist. So about 9 years
