Are NFTs dying?

Since 2021 I'm really interested in NFTs and would like to work in this field. But I keep hearing it's dying even though I believe there is a great opportunity in there.

I believe it is a slower area now a days, however, there will always be a Niche group who has high interest in them! I would still explore and look into NFT's as there is no harm in it and you could find some opportunities in it still.

Steve’s Answer

NFTs have certainly made a splash in recent times, haven't they? They've become quite the hot topic, especially as a speculative investment. Some folks might even say the market's "gone cold" due to the drop in value of these assets.

But here's the fun part - there's so much more to NFTs than meets the eye! Many top-notch companies are actually using this technology to jazz up their digital marketing and customer loyalty programs. Take Salesforce for example. This giant in the world of enterprise software has introduced NFT services for their customers, including big names like toy manufacturer Mattel and coffee king Starbucks.

So, while it's easy to poke fun at NFTs as "dead" due to the speculative actions of a handful of folks with deep pockets, the truth is that the technology behind NFTs is buzzing with life and being put to practical use.

A great question. IMHO, NFTs were hyped and had their prime time. But I believe, we will still have a use of them in Web3 world especially now with the advancements in AI. Now, everyone can generate Text to Image useful graphics and do not need to be a graphics designer.
You will see more and more use of these in Games, Virtual Worlds, and Web3 App.

We may call them something else. I would suggest to keep learning about them and be ready for another prime time.
