Because they will never achieve their goals and will drag me down with them and prevent me from achieving mine.
The sooner you can start putting money into a 401k or Roth IRA the better.
Your younger days are such a small part of your life, and while you have to have fun and use that time to find your passions etc, your future self will thaaaaaaank you trust me.
The most enchanting and valuable parts of life are not materialistic. If we are to value material things, the best strategy is to seek what is truly fitting. Whether it's designing a life that perfectly matches your desires or discovering a compatible soulmate to share that life with, aligning with what genuinely suits you is far more precious than amassing wealth or chasing elusive degrees. Embarking on a journey with a steadfast resolve to achieve something through your own effort is the best way to start. It's a much better option than the shortcuts and immediate gratifications commonly preferred today. Never undervalue your worth.
In our youth, many of us tend to fear failure and make efforts to avoid it at all costs. However, as we mature, we come to understand that making mistakes and experiencing setbacks are essential parts of the learning process. They teach us resilience, problem-solving, and the importance of perseverance.
So, I would tell my younger self not to be afraid of taking risks, trying new things, or pursuing ambitious goals, even if failure is a possibility. Each stumble is a chance to learn, adapt, and ultimately become a stronger and wiser individual. It's through these experiences that we often discover our true passions and strengths.
Remember, it's not about how many times you fall but how many times you get back up and keep moving forward. Embrace failure as a stepping stone to success, and don't let the fear of it hold you back from pursuing your dreams and aspirations.

Growing up was tough and things didn’t always go to plan, but the family, home and all the surrounding things I have now made all do the crazy worth it.
