Would studying abroad be a good option? And how could I get scholarships for it?
Can I go abroad for a summer or a few weeks? I have always had this thought but never knew how to go about it or how I could afford this type of opportunity.

As someone who didn't study abroad, this is the main thing I would do differently if I got a chance to go through college again. There tend to be more time constraints as people age, and this is one of the easiest ways to experience something new and immerse yourself in a different culture.

Yes - you can definitely go abroad for a summer or a few weeks! Look into your school's offerings - most schools even have an international travel/study abroad office that will help you narrow down your options and help you find scholarships. My school charged the same amount for abroad tuition as on-campus tuition. Students just had to pay for their flights. All schools are different, however, so make sure you look up your school's policy. A quick google search for study abroad scholarships could also help you find some available ones.

I feel like study abroad is a great way to experience a new country and get college credits for taking classes while you are there. I would say definitely have affective planning and budget your money if you are interested in studying abroad. Also at the school you want to study abroad with there are scholarships you can apply for and financial aid that can help cover costs if being able to afford it is a concern
