I am looking for programs, internships and summer camps that are available in my state of Kansas for Archicture, such as firms, colleges etc, as a sophomore.?
so i am a sophomore and i am trying to apply for stuff but don't know where to look for, the colleges that I have in my state or around me are UMKC, K state, KU, JCCC and Baker, I am trying to look for programs or offers in that area from firms but I am not sure how to find it and how to look for programs, thank you. -Blair.
I want to apply to the NYU Simon’s Summer program but I know it’s extremely selective with only a 5% acceptance rate and I’m worried I’m not good enough so could anyone read my stats? I have a 4.5 weighted gpa and a 4.0 unweighted I maxed out the rigor of my course work in both of of my years of high school (I’m a sophomore) and for extracurriculars I started a nonprofit that has received over 100+ letters that go to children in the area that face hardships, I also started an LA fundraiser that has collected over 200+ clothing articles in about two weeks, I have an essay that’s almost ready to be published about the unintentional disregard of women in the health care system and its affects on their lives, I also have a children’s book about women’s health that should be ready to self publish in the second week of February, I have a HOBY nomination for leadership, I take an EMT course and will be certified by June, I am a girls in the run junior coach( local nonprofit that helps young girls become more confident and assertive), I also work as an HR at a tutoring company, I also have a prototype of a women’s health app I am trying to develop, and to finish off I started reasearching possible early diagnosis of endometriosis through cell trackers found in menstrual blood. However I know that pretty much all of the kids submitting an application have done these things or something way better so I was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas on how to help me get admitted into the program?!

Any summer programs still open for high school students?
My name is Savannah and I'm a rising senior in KS. I know I'm very late to the game with this one, but does anyone know of any online/in person summer programs that are still available for high school students? I'd love to find some stuff to boost my resume over the summer, but it seems like I've missed all the application deadlines for things :( . My future major is psychology and I'm also interested in science, history, writing, and business. What should I do if I want to be an Art Director?
Currently, I am a sophomore in high school, and I'm not sure what to major in or how to go on in my high school career! To preface what i have so far...I have two years of TV production experience, and was the head of my schools prom commitee for traditional art. This upcoming year, I'll be historian for this organization that is involved with the city and for my class (ASB). Also, I'll be in my school's yearbook class for ADS and PR. This summer, I'll be taking a graphic design class at Otis college! Also, I'm not so sure what industry I want to work in yet, so I'm still trying to figure that out.
How can I get a research opportunity or internship with a professor or company as a high school student?
Hi, I am an high school junior interested in conducting a research or interning in the engineering field this summer, but I’m not sure where to start or how to go about it. I contacted a lot of engineering firms around me and most of them either don’t do internships or don’t have any openings. I don’t have any research questions I specifically want to study, so I was thinking about emailing professors at nearby universities/colleges about joining their research but I’m afraid it might only be limited to students of that university with some sort of experience. I’m also worried that it might be too late since the university’s spring semester around me (their current semester) has just ended. Should I still try and email professors about to join their research, and if so, how? Or should I keep contacting more firms around me? What do you think I should do?

Hi! I'm a sophomore who really loves biotech and Bio. I'm doing a summer program this summer that allows me to write a paper about genome errors and a particular disease. High School Summer programs in NJ?
Hi! I applied to a few but not many popular summer programs for high schoolers and didn't match with most of them. Now I'm freaking out over not having much to do over the summer especially since its before my junior year. Ive been looking for summer programs or internships for juniors in high schools for so many hours lately but all the deadlines have passed! Im really upset and stressed over this situation and if knows of any programs with deadlines still open such as research ones at Rutgers or at other neighboring areas such as Newark or internships please let me know.
