What classes did you take in high school that made you interested in childcare?

I am interested in being a childcare worker.

Hi Addison! I loved working with children from an early age and continue to have a passion for it. When I was in high school, my school had a child development class and it also had the opportunity to "intern" at a local elementary school. I really enjoyed it! I don't think every high school has that type of offering but if yours does, take it! If not, another option is getting involved in babysitting within your community. If you're unexperienced, you could offer to help a mom around the house or taking care of the child when she's home. Eventually, you'll get more experience and feel more comfortable being alone with kids. After a while, you can start making great money! I hope this helps!
