Discover what you love, what you're good at, and what matters to you! Of course this will change over time -- but that's the best part ... we constantly evolve.

-Set clear goals for your future -- what does your ideal future look like. Financially, Location etc..
-Learn about different careers and dabble in them by attending webinars or volunteering if you can.
-Connect with people who can help you.
-Stay open to new possibilities and stay positive.
-Keep applying for internships or part-time jobs.
-Be ready to adjust your plans when needed. When I started my career, I wanted to be an elementary school teacher. Fast forward 10+ years and I'm in tech and it worked for me.

Hi Savana, start by the big title, what do you like in general, Food, Finance, Marketing, Technology, Health....
you can pick more than one, then you start getting in touch with people in these fields and do more research on the internet to filter down to the job you would like to try within these areas.
once you have a shortlist of these jobs, then you can try the internship, part time job, summer job, and this is what will give you more taste of the job to see if this will be your career or not.

Thank you comment icon In the book, it helps you to identify jobs that fit your skills and or things you may like to do. For example, it helps with defining things you like to do, your goals, the type of people you like to work, responsibilities, interests, places to live, things you like to do.
