On average how much sleep should be striving for?

Just to make sure I'm getting the proper amount of sleep. #sleep #college

You should be striving for at least 8 hours of sleep each day. Sometimes it is difficult to get that due to studies or work related tasks that run longer than usual. Try to get 8 if possible, this will help you focus better and you will feel energetic.

From what I have read, the commonly accepted average amount of sleep for a student is 8-10 hours and an adult 7-8 hours.

According to study , Child should sleep between 12 to 10 hours and adult should sleep between 8 to 9 hours and elder people should sleep 7 to 8 hours.
Elderly get a sleepless and child get sleep more than younger
